Upcoming Events:

Sweetheart Gala 2018Join Tarifa on February 23rd  in beautiful St. Augustine, Florida at the exciting Sweetheart Gala Annual Event. She will be presenting a workshop on the “Zaar” which is a pagan ritual involving trance inducing movements that generally result in a release of tension. The folk that practice such rituals believe that the djinn has taken possession of the person who is deemed ill. The rhythmic movements aid the dancer in achieving transcendence that result in communing with the spirit which will eventually be convinced to leave this person chosen as its vessel. Save the Date, Spring Raqs Pensacola

Tarifa will be the featured instructor/artist on April 28th at the Annual Spring Raqs Pensacola. This event will include two 2 – hour workshops taught by Tarifa, the first featuring an Oriental Veil/Sagat piece in which she will focus on strong execution of the movement themes without sacrificing essence of the folk. The second 2 – hour workshop will be her widely popular Assaya choreography that was introduced in 2013 at the “Celebrating the Life and Work of Ibrahim Farrah”.
